What We Believe
Our Foundational Belief: The Kingdom
At Kingdom Community Ministries, our entire foundation rests upon the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, embodied in our Lord Jesus Christ. We exist to see lives transformed by this powerful message that leads believers to the Lord and into their true identity as sons of God. To the intent that they might be fully prepared to walk in the divine purpose of God for their lives.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is our final standard for all matters of faith, doctrine, and conduct. We teach that Scripture clearly reveals God’s eternal plan to establish His Kingdom and is fully sufficient to equip every believer for life and service.
God
We believe in one God, eternally expressed as God the Father, God the Son (The Lord Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. Each expression of the Trinity is fully and equally God, united in purpose and majesty, yet distinct in role.
The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, both fully divine and fully human. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins, was buried, and was raised from the dead on the third day. He ascended to the right hand of the Father and reigns forever as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is the presence of God active in the world and in the life of every born again believer. The Spirit grants new life to those who trust in the Lord Jesus, empowers believers for service, gifts the Church for ministry, and continually transforms us to be more like Christ.
Salvation
We believe that Salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through confession with the mouth and belief in the heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and He died and rose again for our sins. This faith in Jesus Christ grants us forgiveness of sins and eternal life.
Being Born Again
The born again experience is a spiritual birth that takes place in the life of everyone who believes in Jesus Christ as Lord. It is the work of God in the heart of man by the Spirit. Through the preached Word of God, faith is produced, which results in eternal salvation, and a God-consciousness that fosters a relationship with Him as our Heavenly Father. This new birth grants access and citizenship into the Kingdom of God, transforming our identity into the sons of God.
Water Baptism
We believe in Baptism by immersion in water as an outward expression of an inner spiritual change. It is a public declaration of the believer’s identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, marking a commitment to live a new life in the Spirit.
Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, which is an endowment of power for service and ministry that believers would be effective witnesses of the Lord Jesus Christ. This experience is always accompanied by evidence.
Communion
We believe Communion (The Lord’s Supper) is a sacred ordinance instituted by our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a time for believers to remember His body broken and His blood shed for our sins. We practice this regularly as an act of fellowship and worship, proclaiming the Lord’s death until He comes.
Fellowship
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, composed of all believers who are united in the mission of the Kingdom. Fellowship is essential for growth, where we gather for corporate praise and worship, teaching, mutual encouragement, and prayer, fulfilling the call to grow together to the measure of the fullness of Christ.
